  WHAT HAPPENED?

  It has been confirmed that the Red Dragons will be heading back to the Americas for a second pre-season tour. In 2023, Phil Parkinson’s side took on the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and LA Galaxy II when readying themselves for life back in the Football League.

• THE BIGGER PICTURE

  They have gone on to secure back-to-back promotions, meaning that League One competition will be on the cards next season. Ahead of that campaign, with there plenty of work to be done over the coming weeks, Wrexham will be travelling Stateside.

  Executive director Humphrey Ker has announced that Wrexham will be heading to the west coast, with there seemingly the potential for that journey to take the Welsh outfit as far north as Canada – with the Whitecaps offering a nod towards a friendly fixture in a ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ style graphic.
