WHAT HAPPENED?
The Bianconeri were considered to be leading the race for Greenwood after seeing him impress on loan at La Liga side Getafe during the 2023-24 campaign. There have been reports of the Serie A giants putting an offer on the table that could be worth as much as £40 million ($51m).

With United yet to accept, and reporting that there is opposition to a deal for Greenwood within Juve’s passionate fanbase, said bid may be withdrawn. The Turin giants are said to be exploring alternative options.

Juve would be open to offering the 24-year-old another clean slate in Italy, but Corriere Torino claims there is no chance of them meeting Sancho’s €50m (£42m/$54m) asking price. Instead, they are looking to agree a loan that would include options to negotiate a permanent transfer in upcoming windows.
